Meghalaya Public Service Commission (PSC) invites applications for the recruitment of the posts of Lower Division Assistant and Assistant Inspector, 79 vacancies. The candidates who have passed PUC, HSSLC, or 12th Standard from a recognized board are eligible. Application through online mode is open till 20th December 2024. The recruited candidates would be offered a structured pay scale in accordance with the Revised Pay Structure. Candidates falling in the above categories are requested to submit their applications within the deadline and pay the applicable application fees as specified against each category.

Candidate with HSSLC (12th standard) or its equivalent examination passed from recognized board/ university in India. Lower Division Assistant: The candidate needs to have completed his or her HSSLC (12th standard) or its equivalent. The various departments require the assistant for carrying out clerical duties. Assistant Inspector of Excise: He is under the revenue and excise department. The task requires dealing with excise regulation and the tasks related to that, also it demands a good academic background.
